Amanda Bauler, MSN, CRNP, FNP-BC
Amanda has more than 22 years experience first as a registered nurse working in pediatrics, cardiology and medical surgical units and for the past 19 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner in primary and urgent care settings.
She moved with her family (husband and five children) to the area in 2017 from the Pacific Northwest. She grew up in a very rural area of northcentral Nebraska, and providing primary care in a small town for the past nine years has been the greatest joy and biggest challenge of her career so far. She opened Mountain View Wellness in January of 2024 and then Mountain View Psychiatry in April of 2024 to meet both the primary care and mental health needs of this underserved community.
She provides care from a holistic mindset often incorporating supplements and herbal therapies when appropriate with a thorough knowledge of pharmacology to manage patients with acute and chronic conditions.
Outside of the office, Amanda enjoys spending time with her five children, music and traveling (where you’ll likely find her hiking in the mountains).
Allison Wade, CRNP, FNP-BC
Allison Wade completed her master’s of science in nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Maryland in 2001 and her masters in acupuncture in 2010. She loves taking care of the whole family and extended families and now is starting to see 3rd and 4th generations. She is pleased to be practicing in western Maryland where she grew up and is raising her own family.
She has the unique experience of learning both Eastern medicine and Western medicine practices and likes to integrate them into a holistic approach with her patients.
During her free time, Allison loves to spend time with her husband, two children, and animals. Fun fact: she loves playing the piano!
